this is an excellent question. i mean there are so many reasons to be a fictional charater, and since there are so many, its hard to pick one. because when you think about it, anything is possible in fiction. in fiction, i can control anything, the person who you are can control anything. the only limits to fictional characters is the imagination of the person creating them, and the only limits to the fictional character are the ones given to him.
but if i had to pick one, itd probably be this guy here, because no one else im thinking of is very creative.
thats Dark Templar Zeratul. only a few of you guys know him, but heres some reasons why id be this guy.
One: hes over 600 years old. thats some serious wisdom right there.
Two: hes like a super ninja. the guy is able to melt into shadows and travel inside them, undetected. and he can turn invisible at will.
Three: he has something like a green lightsaber, but its made of this stuff called psionic energy, which comes from the power of his mind, and it generates from his knuckles, so its always available and cuts through anything.
so yeah, id be an old alien ninja with a lightsaber. whatcha gonna do?
