Junior Year
I remember at the beginning of the year Mr. Logsdon asked the class how many AP classes we were taking. When I raised my hand for 5, he said I was crazy. And I guess he was right. But I've survived junior year, and I really mean survive. These last few weeks have been the most chaotic of my entire school life. An EOC here, and on demand there, all sprinkled over a blanket of AP tests. I'm glad that 4 of my teachers aren't giving finals. They're given mini projects that are way better than taking more tests. And I'm glad that I still have my 2 exemptions for my other classes. I have maybe one more thing to do this year and then I'm done. It's been a brilliant ride. Taking the PSAT, ACT, and SAT. Applying for GSP. Being involved. This was the first year where I've felt like I'm worth something, that I have taken upon a great deal of work and finished it. I finally feel like I've done something noteworthy enough to be in the Academy. It will feel good to take a 2 month break from all of it. And then I gear up to do it all over again next year.
