Typically for these blog posts, I attempt to make my entries fairly humorous and light hearted. Although originally I had planned to do that when writing about my seat partners, I decided I would rather write something more genuine.
Justin Pemberton:
I've known Justin for the past three years, and while we are not the closest of friends I've still grown quite fond of him. He's what I consider to be a "layer friend", one who I get progressively closer with over the years. I have something for Justin that I do not for many people, that being respect. He is one of the few people who have supported me in my weight loss endeavor the minute he was made aware about it. Its this genuine kindness and overall sense of integrity that makes me appreciate him. To majority of people, he comes of as being reserved. While this is generally true, Justin is capable of being communicative. Its interesting to see how Justin has changed over the years. I remember him from Freshman year as being sort of lost, the type of person who existed without goals. But over the years he has evolved into someone more defined, someone with a strong passion for their music and religion. Regardless of the fact that I don't know him as well as I probably should, based on what I know about Justin, he's a pretty damn good person, and I'm happy to know him.
Victoria Salsman:
Victoria and I have a very interesting, love-hate relationship. There are days when are close, and days when we might as well not know one another. That being said, I still consider her to be a friend even if she feels otherwise. Although we get into arguments on regular basis, we also spend a decent amount of time discussing random things, ranging from Physics class to tastes in music. On numerous occasions, I've seen her drift away from her usual self and transform into an overly bubbly person. Victoria is a person I'm glad I met, simply because she has one of the most unique personalities of anyone I have ever met. While most teenage girls are too focused on blending in, she differs in that she is extremely proud of who she is and the talents she has, and that in itself is something quite respectable.
