Fantastical Fights- Silly?

As hard as it is to believe, the only movies out of the options presented that I’ve actually seen is the Harry Potter series. Personally, I find it hard to watch something that I know could never happen. It’s not that I wouldn’t watch them if they were the only options available. It’s just that I would prefer to not watch them if I could do something else. I don’t believe that they’re stupid. They’re just not my cup of tea. I prefer older movies such as “Gone with the Wind” or “It’s A Wonderful Life” or most historical fiction movies to action-packed movies (generally). I guess you could say I’m picky with the movies I allow myself to watch, but I would have to say that we’re all entitled to our own opinions. The fantastical and the out of the ordinary are not the things that draw me to a movie or to a plot line. The variations in plot line, and the realistic events and characters are much better. With every action movie I’ve seen, I’ve been annoyed by the surface level characters. There’s nothing more to them than their motivation. Seeing a change in the character as the movie progresses is much more important than a pointless fight. I would rather be amazed by the characters than by the special effects.
