National Debt (LATE PASS)

I have little knowledge on how to remedy the ongoing economic situation. That being said, the most obvious solution appears to be an increase in taxation and lowering government spending. More specifically, cut spending on military affairs and increase taxation on the population. The combination of these two practices should yield a succesful renovation of the American economy. In addition, emphasizing American products on the international market and attemtping to import and export greater amounts should help stimulate the economy.
