Having neighbors that you enjoy in a classroom setting is just as important as having neighbors that you enjoy on your street. I love my next door neighbors, and in English this year I was blessed with two more wonderful neighbors!
Macy Early: Now, I’ve known Macy since freshman year. We have had Glee marathons, celebrated birthdays with parties involving crazy oatmeal face masks, and attended dance recitals. Mrs. Early is the most most dedicated, kind, and genuine person that I have ever known. She has the most loving family and the biggest heart for basically everyone that she meets. This year I got to witness Macy work her magic as she campaigned for governor at KYA, and it was amazing seeing someone who was so passionate about what they believe.
Ian Foster: This kid keeps me on my feet. Except when he falls asleep, then I’m left to my own devices. He is my constant source of comedic relief and a pretty good self confidence booster. Forgot about the vocab quiz? It’s ok, Ian did too - so we shall fail together. Didn’t write your SOAPSTone for the third time? Neither did he. I love sitting next to Ian because many other people would disapprove of my procrastination, but he encourages it. And, not only is Ian my neighbor in class, he is also my trust fall partner! So far he is a good trust fall partner. He hasn’t dropped me...yet.
