Their personalities are so different. I mean, to my left, Spencer. He sits and talks, and forgets his homework. He asks, “Have you done this yet?” and I obviously haven’t done it either. Forgetful me. Or… “Can I borrow a pencil?” I don’t think I’ve went a day without hearing that since the beginning of the school year. Since we sit near each other 3rd hour too, I can also add in those experiences. Another “Can I borrow a pencil?” usually occurs around the beginning of class. Then, as our teacher never begins teaching at the beginning of class, the screensaver pops up. “What if that was, like, the whole room?” Once again, a question that I’ve heard so much that each time, I eventually forget about it. Even though he has some minor tendencies that annoy me, there are definitely some wonderful benefits of sitting next to him. He can add some humor to almost any situation. Elizabeth, on the other hand, is usually quiet. She doesn’t usually ask me for anything, except for the occasional 50 Essays book, which isn’t really a problem. I always carry around an extra copy. Although we don’t talk very much, the conversations we do have usually are based on… “I did not understand that at all.” She’s a fairly optimistic and cheerful person, and we work well together on just about anything. We can balance each other out very well, and I’m glad I get to sit by her. I just hope I don’t accidentally drop her Wednesday!
