Sticks & Stones

Although many people refuse to believe this, bullying is the biggest problem facing schools today. What most people do not realized is that if the person does not seem to be suffering from verbal/physical bullying, that does not mean that they do not feel that way on the inside. They may really be hurting, but they are trying to hide it. Whether the bullying is through face-to-face contact, or through the internet, it always hurts more than you think it does.
Other than bullying, I think that the biggest problem facing schools today is laziness. Students, including myself sometimes, are just not motivated to do their work at all. But, they get upset when their grades are bad, and refuse to accept the blame for their own personal short comings. This is a big problem, and one that could be easily fixed with a bit of students applying themselves.
