Good vs. Evil

I don't believe in absolute good and evil, but I do believe that they exist separately. There definitely is a gray area, but I think it only applies to people who have been good, but had a few screw-ups. I'd like to think of almost everyone as being in the 'good' category, unless they've messed up big-time more than a couple of times. That's what the gray area is for. The 'evil' category should be reserved for those that are just plain heartless (like Hitler...or Voldemort). I don't think there is really a war between good and evil, but rather they are two opposite ends of the spectrum whose forces sometimes cross paths. I wouldn't say that good and evil HAVE to exist, but there is nothing that can stop them from existing. You can't just wipe all the evil off the face of the earth; if we could, the history of the world would be a lot less interesting. So no, I don't think one can eliminate the other.

Basically, evil is everything that isn't good or gray.
