Good vs. Evil

I don't believe in absolute good or evil. Most things aren't absolute in life and this example certainly isn't. Good vs. Evil is just a classic example of perspective. Harry Potter vs. Voldemort is a great example. The story is written in a anti-Voldemort and muggle-loving approach. In Voldemort's perspective, the Wizarding community has been reduced and downtrodden for centuries. The pure blood of magic is dying and the muggling population is ever growing. Voldemort seeks to have revenge for all wizards and magical creatures. They are more powerful than muggle, yet they have been abused. In his perspective, his motive is pure, even if his intentions are not. If Harry Potter had been written in the perspective of Voldemort, it obviously wouldnt have been as popular but it would have been an entirely different story. The same struggle applies with the Sith and the Jedi. We always see the Jedi perspective of things. But why do they shun half of their own power? Why is the dark side considered dark? The audience never gets justification for the Jedis hate for the Sith. Darth Sidious on the other hand attempts to create a universal empire that has peace. He even achieves this for a time. Peace is better than the rivaling factions within the Old Republic, isn't it? Sidious was actually trying to unify and create peace if you just look at things through his perspective. There aren't good and bad people. Nobody looks at themselves and says, "I feel extra evil today." However, motivation for actions can be just or unjust. Oftentimes, people consider that good and evil. But just actions can be evil and unjust actions can be equally good. Evil and good are just the high societal perspective of actions. Actions, not motivation. These actions are generally prejudicially determined and they are decided without getting both perspectives. Sometimes a person deserves to be murdered if the motivation is pure. If a person gets shot and in self-defense kills the shooter, then that is just and righteous. But almost anyone you ask will say that murder is evil. Good and Evil can't truly exist because everyone has a different perspective and opinion on every topic.
