good vs. evil
Good verses evil is a concept that seems simple at first glance. Sure, when you are watching a movie it is easy to pick out who the good and evil characters are. But is there really that clear of a definition in real life? Personally I don't think so. Good people aren't perfect and they are going to have their moments when they do something bad. And it all depends on a person preception of the situation. For exaple, lets say someone believes that lying is an evil act. If someone tells one lie during their life time does that make them an evil person? People may answer this question very differently. A real life example that comes to mind (although it is pretty gruesome) are cases of cannibalism that have happened throughout history in some life or death situations. Cannibalism is an act of evil. But what if you were going to die? Would you resort to it? Many times there are so many factors that go into these acts that its hard to classify them. It all depends on how you personally view the situation. And that is why it is so hard to classify that acts in real life. Peoples intentions may be good but turn out bad or something like that. I believe that your actions can be good or evil but I think the definition of those words are completly up to each person to decide for themselves. So there is no real clear cut definitions of these words making it a much more complex subject than it seems.
