Beloved Possesions, Now and Then

Fears: Will I be successful?
Annoyances: People who don't appreciate my humor
Accomplishments: Getting this far in my educational career
Confusions: Is the grass really greener on the other side?
Sorrows: Leaving behind friends to progress in life
Dreams: Being not only successful but revered
Idiosyncracies: Gritting my teeth
Risks: Procrastination
Beloved Possesions, now and then: My iPod, Yugioh Cards
Problems: Lack of sleep

BELOVED POSSESSIONS, NOW AND THEN:
When I was a child, I had an obscene obsession with Yugioh Cards. So much that according to my middle aged father, Ram, I spent nearly 600 dollars purchasing the cards in a two year period. Unfortunately, around the time I began puberty my interest in Yugioh began to fade and I was left without any real beloved possession. This lack of beloved possession continued for a few years until I turned 13. It was during this momentous year in my life that I was gifted my first iPod. It was a silver iPod Classic 80 GB model. I had always found music to be entertaining my entire life, but I never really established a strong appreciation for it until I got my iPod because I had no means of taking my music where I could go. At age 8, I asked my father to buy me a CD Player. He told me to draw one and imagine songs in my head. For me, this iPod meant quite a bit. Granted, at the time I only had about 200 songs, the iPod allowed me to listen to those songs at any time, in any location, without any constraint whatsoever. As time progressed, my personal collection of music went from a measly 200 songs to 6538 songs. The space and mobility which the iPod provided me allowed me to expand my preference in music from being just garbage to just garbage and some alternative rock. Unfortunately, my beautiful classic passed on when I was 15, and it was replaced by my current 32 GB touch. Life continues...
