Hakuna matata

Fears - Flying over the ocean
Annoyances - My metabolism
Accomplishments - Staying up for 41 hours straight with the PSAT in the middle of it
Confusions - Sporks
Sorrows - AP Chemistry
Dreams - Travelling the world
Idiosyncrasies - Hakuna matata
Risks - Life
Beloved Possessions, Now and Then - Pink comb, my stuffed panda
Problems - Privacy

Since my idiosyncrasies section is probably the most confusing, I'll write about it. Hakuna matata. We've all seen The Lion King right? If you haven't, stop reading now and go watch it. The phrase is Swahili for "no worries." I see it as a way of life that I am aiming for. There's so much in life that we worry about constantly, and it's just a hassle. Go check your facebook right now. You'll see a steady stream of people complaining about things. Wouldn't it be nice to have to not worry about any of it? I try not to make big deals out of nothing. Whenever I start to over-think things or have a sissy fit, I just remind myself: hakuna matata. Sure, there are things that I should worry about (grades and biological needs to be specific). But aside from those, I try to just live my life the way I want to live it. I may not have achieved complete hakuna matata yet, but that's the direction I'm aiming for.
