War

I do think that there is a time for war, but only in one specific situation. I think the only time that war is the only thing that can be done in order for good things to ultimately come out of a situation is the situation that the United States was put in with Iraq. Iraq was a country who decided to on September 11, 2001 carry out an act of terrorism on our country simply because they did not like what this country is built off of and what it stands for. The country of Iraq was at that time in a very bad situation in terms of their government and something needed to be done or Iraq would continue these acts of terrorism. There was no situation in which the United states would of gone into Iraq and tried to peacefully talk to them and then come to an agreement. The only way to show Iraq a life that would be better for all of its people was by force. No, I am not in support of the many lives that were lost in this war, but I feel and I think many of the men and women who died serving their country would agree that they died for a very noble and patriotic cause, which was to stand up for the freedom and equality of the United States and not let acts of terrorism against are great nation be done without some form of consequence against the very people that put those acts upon our nation. So in conclusion, yes I do think their is a time where war is necessary and it would not be beneficial or logical to just "talk it out" or "come to a reasonable agreement" as some people might argue.
