Am I the only one whose mind becomes absolutely blown when I think about zippers? How in the world do they work? You just pull the little tab and the two sides connect/disconnect. Whenver I ask someone how they work, the person just arrogantly laughs at me like they're the "zipper expert" or something, while we all know that they also have no idea how this magic happens. When you look it up, apparently zippers have little hooks on each side and they hook together, but we all know that's not the case. My theory is that there are little dwarves, similar to the Keebler elves, and when you pull the tab, slide, or thingamajig, they pull the sides towards each other and hold them together until you unzip. Most are skeptical of this idea, but that's just because they're probably jealous that I beat them to the correct process of the ever most confusing zipper.
