War

Firstly, I would like to apologize for this blog being late. I was sick over the weekend and through Tuesday and this slipped my mind. I don't think many people truly like war. It's not fun, it's expensive, and people die. In most cases, all that war offers countries is a war-less future; if you win, you take the lesser of two damages. I think war is a vehicle for countries to lose power. I mean, how often does a country go to war and not risk their stability? I also think war is a product of a lack of communication. I can't think of a conflict that has resulted in war that could not have been worked out without bloodshed. If more countries tried harder to work out differences without war, there would be less war. Simple, right? Of course not. This implies that a world without war is possible. As much as we cross our fingers and hope that war doesn't have to happen, there are billions of people with different beliefs, customs, and cultures out there. In order for a war-less planet, these billions of people must get along with each-other for the rest of time. I'm holding my breath.
