Well, considering I have quite a few idiosyncrasies, that will be my writing territory. The first definition of idiosyncrasy I found when I googled it was "a mode of behavior or way of thought peculiar to an individual." Automatically I thought of the routine I go through before every single soccer game I play. As soon as school is over I go home, change into however much of my uniform I can and put whatever isn't clean in the washer. Then, depending on when my mom gets out of work, I ALWAYS eat a burger. If she gets out late I go to sleep (in half my uniform) until two hours before the game. If not, I eat it before I take a nap. Anyways, after I wake up I put everything in my soccer bag and put my cleats and such on. Then I have to get my iPod and listen to my specific Soccer Playlist, and especially the song "Lose Yourself" by Eminem. It's the one song that I have listened to before every single soccer game since I started playing freshman year. If I don't I just know I'll play terribly. I also have to sleep and eat a burger before every game. I don't know why, because a lot of people tell me that naps make them more tired and a burger beforehand would make them throw up, but it's what I do. I would consider my routine to be an idiosyncrasy since it's something only I do, and it's a little odd.
