Feel the vibrations

On this fateful day in history, twenty years ago, the song “Good Vibrations” by Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch hit number one. At this time many other actors were trying to make a name in music, but none of them found this type of success. This event was the launching pad of Mark Wahlberg’s career. Without “Good Vibrations” hitting number one, we may have never had great works of art such as The Fighter, The Other Guys, or Entourage. These films/television shows have brought me and many of my friends joy over the years. In the early months of 2011, The Fighter won two Oscars, three Critics Choice Awards, and two Golden Globes. The was very highly acclaimed by critics worldwide. Also, he not only stars in, but directs the show Entourage. Entourage has won six Emmys and a Golden Globe. His successful ventures into the world of entertainment - whether they be acting, producing, or singing - have set a precedent for other artists around the world.
