War

War is something I have always considered to be unneccesary. Feel free to call me a pacifist, but I strongly believe that almost any issue can be solved by effective communication and negotiation. However, despite my belief, I also realize that most of the world's most succesful nations were established as a result of war. Now you might ask why I possess this sentiment? To be quite honest, im surprised not more people do support my views on war. Wars cause the unnecessary deaths of civilians, lead to famines, destroy social structures, etc. The list goes on. I believe war is just a sad excuse for governments to justify their power. If the nations of the world realized how unneccesary and harmfully influential wars are and instead focused on developing global peace, the world would definitely become a more appreciable place.
