all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.

war is a subject I'm morbidly engaged by. its gruesome, violent, chaotic, and often repulsive. and yet, I'm drawn in, a scene of war can not be dull, or boring, and quite often is the opposite. it depicts struggle, and power, and weakness, and violence, and its interesting in a profoundly disturbing way.
from an ethical standpoint, i view certain war acts as justifiable, but others (slaughtering children and such) reprehensible. however, bottom line is, when it comes to myself and my loved ones to theoretical foreign children, ill choose myself every time and not lose sleep over it. plus wartime strengthens ones economy. i wouldn't say I'm pro war, but of all the crimes we commit,its excusable.
